D&A Elite Transport LLC CDL Driver Job Description
This is OTR POWER ONLY weekly job opportunity, You go out for 4-5 days and get home on the weekends for your reset
A Truck Driver, or Transporter, is responsible for transporting goods from one location to another. Their job duties include attaching and detaching trailer to tractor, abiding by traffic laws and ensuring safe delivery to destination.
Responsibilities
- Long-distance driving
- Expected to drive 4-5 days per week, 3-4 overnight on the road
- Expected to drive 11-13 hours per day
- Expect most weekends off, may be required some occasional weekends on busy/holiday seasons.
- Communicating and coordinating with dispatchers
- Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
- Securing trailer to tractor and properly detaching trailer at destination
- Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
- Ensuring that their goods arrive safely and on schedule.
Qualifications:
- CDL license active without restrictions
- A clean driving record, DMV records must be submitted at time of application.
- Active DOT Physical
- Pass DOT required alcohol/drug screen
- Visual and hearing acuity, in accordance with federal regulation

Compensation
- Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
- Salary:
- 15% – 22% of the load (CDL driver)
- $800 weekly during training (6 weeks)
- Minimum $1,000 (team) or $800 (2 solo 37 runs) thereafter (for each completed 70 hours of service weekly)
